Personal Statement
Playing volleyball keeps me sane while helping to keep me on top of my school work by pushing me to do better in time management and efficiency. I love the energy and the excitement during games and practices. I also like the chemistry and friendships created with teammates and coaches. I would define success as an athlete by continuing to grow, learn new ways and techniques to get the job done, all while getting better at the sport. My teammates would describe me as the hype-man of the team. Up or down I am constantly trying to raise spirits. They would also say I am determined since I make sure to go to every practice including the "optional" ones.
