My name is Madison Batey. I am a high school freshman at The Brighton School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is a small school for dyslexics. Due to the size of the school, I have just completed my third year of varsity play.
The Brighton School joined the LHSAA as a Division V school this year and I helped lead the team to a second place finish in our District and a berth in the state playoffs. Though we lost to the state runner-up in the first round, our team is young and hungry to prove itself.
I pride myself on playing hard and motivating my teammates to do their best. I love playing volleyball and would love to play at a collegian level. I am looking for a program to fit my academic and athletic talents as I pursue my college degree.
