Hello, my name is Ava Ward. I've played volleyball for six years. I have played every position aside from setter. I am versatile and willing to play anywhere. I have played 5 other sports, so I believe that consistency is key. I am a team player and work well with others. I have amazing leadership skills, having been on the student council for three years. I believe that correction is necessary for success and improvement. Academics have always been the biggest part of my life. As student-athletes, we often forget the student part. I have set myself up to be as academically successful as possible, which is why I will graduate high school with an associate's degree. My goal is to play college volleyball and succeed beyond my own imagination. Winning championships is, of course, ideal, but If I can leave knowing that I improved not only as a player but also as a person. I know that I have succeeded in life.
