Kenley Nonato '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Kenley Nonato, I am a 16 year old Junior/Class of 2024 at Teurlings Catholic High School in Lafayette Louisiana. 

If given the opportunity to play for you and your program, I promise you will not be disappointed by my commitment, my effort, and my dedication to teammates, coaches, and staff. I pledge to strive for excellence in my academic endeavors as well as my athletic ones. 

I aim to always be a humble and respectful representative of the your program and the University/College. 

I began playing club volleyball when I was 8 years old for Louisiana Volleyball and was placed on the 12s Regional team. I have always been selected to play on teams above my age. I  have played for several clubs under some of the most amazing coaches. I have learned so much from each and every coach. Although I would have loved to be an outside hitter, my assignment has always been libero due to my 5”2” frame. I have fallen in love with the position over the years. I really enjoy it when I learn new passing and court coverage techniques. (One of my current club coaches, Lexi Hebert, was a Division I DS/Libero and Outside Hitter.) I love the fact that there will be something new to learn every time I step on the court, at practice or during a match. 

I am extremely passionate about women's volleyball and would cherish an opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
