Concerning the question of my academic goals for college, I am considering going into Veterinarian school. The ability to help animals, who cannot speak for themselves, would be a determining factor in my decision to choose that career path. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I am only a freshman, I cannot say for sure at this point in my life, but I feel confident that through the next three years in high school, I will have a clearer vision for my future.
In terms of my athletic goals for my future, I would be thrilled to play one of three sports in college. Volleyball, basketball and tennis have all had an impact on my life. I have played team sports since I was old enough to play. It has taught me so much about integrity, respect, hard work, sportsmanship, commitment, and leadership. If I am fortunate enough to get the opportunity to play at the college level, I feel confident that I will bring all that I have learned from high school to my college team and make a difference. The most important thing that I have to bring to any college team would be my ability to be a team player. One of the things I like most about being on a team is building up my teammates, because that is what wins games. I know that how I conduct myself on and off the court reflects not only on me, but also on my family, my coaches, my teammates, and my school.
