My name is Jordan Felix. I attend Louise S. McGehee School where I have been playing multiple varsity sports since 8th grade. Although I play multiple sports my true love is volleyball. My love for volleyball is indescribable and only grows every time I step on the court. In my volleyball career so far I can proudly say I have been a starter on varsity since eighth grade, I have made it to the state tournament every year of my volleyball career, I am a 2 time all district and 1 time all state player. The turning point in my volleyball career would be eighth grade year where my team and I had made it to the state championship and came up short. Knowing that 4 of the original starters were not going to return next season I knew I had to step it up to help my team get back to the state championship. My freshman year I had to grow as a leader which meant putting in more work on and off the court and doing the little things that make a big difference.
This is what sets me apart from other players; my competitive spirt, work ethic, sense of team, and commitment. I still have not reached all of goals I want to achieve , but I’m not done yet. I know there is still a lot to learn I am excited for it. I would love to continue my volleyball career at the next level with an amazing team and coaching staff that will push me to make me better not just as a teammate but as a person.
