Personal Statement
My name is Tamia Downs. I’m a Junior, Class of 26 at North Iberville High School. In college my goal is to Major in Kinesiology to become a Sports Trainer or a Physical Therapist. But what I mainly want to do in College is play Volleyball. I just started playing volleyball my Freshman year 3 years ago. I’ve grown tremendously! I have a great attitude when it comes to volleyball or any other sport i play. If it’s a bad play we learn from our mistakes and keep going. What makes me different from other athletes is that ive always been an academic student. Before i played sports i was maintaining 4.0s every school year. I still Maintain 4.0s im in the Senior Beta Club, and i’ve also been invited to participate in the National Honors Society.
