I am Emmalyne Eley. I am 18 and just finished my Senior year of high school. Currently I am currently not playing with any official teams, but I do scrimmage with a local college group twice a week. During season I played for CHA, Christian Homeschool Academy and made third in state. I started playing volleyball in August of 2022 and I love the sport very much. My goals in volleyball are to be coachable, to always be improving on my skills to become a better athlete, and to have a great time on the court. I hope that as I improve, that I can go on to play for a college team where I can continue to bring glory to God and work as hard as I can. Until then, I will continue to push myself out of my comfort zone in academics and athletics.
My parents have taught me to be a faithful Christian and to work hard and do my best in everything that I do. I know that with time, full commitment, and proper training, all of my goals will be attainable.
Volleyball has taught me so much over the past two years. I've made many friends and worked myself harder than I thought possible, but most importantly, I've learned how to make mistakes and learn from them.Everyday I look forward to playing volleyball in college.
This coming fall I will be taking a gap year and studying abroad, but I still plan to practice and improve myself daily so that in the fall of 2025 I can play on a collegiate level.
