Alana Thomas-Andrews '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alana Thomas-Andrews, and I am a part of the class of 2015. I am a 5'8" Outside Hitter and Middle Blocker from Reisterstown, MD. This club season, I’m playing for Baltimore Elite VBC in Baltimore, MD on the 18 Gray team - #1. 

I have played volleyball for 4 years, and I love it more every year. When I step into the gym, I am not only trying to make myself better but also my team. I am a well-rounded volleyball player being able to play any position on the front row and back row if necessary. I work hard and I am a team player. I give my full effort, both on the court and academically. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play at the college level while pursuing my college degree. Being an AP and Honors student, I am searching for the best blend of high level volleyball and academic excellence. I love to compete and also want to be academically challenged in science and/or math programs. I play, practice, and study at one speed - full speed.
