Hello! My name is Violet Vannoy and I am currently a sophomore at Indian Creek School in Maryland. I only started playing volleyball my freshman year however, I love the sport and am constantly striving to improve.
I have a lot of personality however I am able to adapt well to different situations. One of my favorite things to do is make people laugh. I love making my teammates, coaches, and friends laugh. Making people laugh makes me happy and it’s a personality trait that I really value.
As an athlete I have competed in many different sports including swimming, equestrian, and wrestling. Swimming is sport I have done for quite a while I did it for a number of years as a kid and picked it back up in high school.
Academically I chose a challenging schedule for this year including two AP courses and two science courses. Although it’s a lot of work I am able to manage my class work, homework, and studying well. I tend to create a plan for what assignments I am going to complete and when. For me a schedule is important because it tends to keep me on track.
Overall, I am someone who can manage things in a way that works for me as well as adjust to situations as needed. I love volleyball and am definitely interested in playing it at the next level.
