Chelsea Tyler '20 Recruiting Profile

Sports have always been a major part of my life. I was a competitive gymnast for nearly 7 years and made the transition to volleyball as I developed a real passion for the sport. I quickly picked it up by attending camps and clinics whenever I could. My strength, agility, and focus from gymnastics, has led me to become a valued player. I made the JV team in my first year of playing and am on my second year of club volleyball. I am currently in my sophomore year of High School and was on the Varsity team.

I am a well-rounded player who is able to play any position in the back row and front row as needed. I am a strong player with a strong work ethic. I realize that volleyball is a mental sport and I am able to stay focused and maintain a positive attitude. I understand that my coach’s constructive feedback, as well as praise, is to aid me into becoming the best player possible. I also realize that I, along with my team members and our coach, are there to accomplish a goal and work as a team.

I am looking for a college that will allow me to be a part of a competitive volleyball program, to grow, and be an asset to a challenging team.
