My name is Alexa Klein. I play on 16 Navy (16-1's) for Baltimore Elite Volleyball Club. I am a 6-rotation Outside Hitter and DS and have been a 3-year captain of my club team. I am in the graduating class of 2024 at McDonogh school where I have played on the varsity team for 2 years as the starting Setter and floor captain. My versatility and willingness allow me to fill in any position on the court.
Growing up, I enjoyed playing tennis, lacrosse, and field hockey, but I later found my true passion in volleyball. Volleyball encompasses not only teamwork and communication, but also commitment, hard work, and determination. Being open to constructive, even critical, feedback has been a key to my development as a player. Over the years, I have developed what I call a "volleyball IQ," enabling me to read the court and to adapt the best strategy to ultimately contribute to my team's success
As I continue to grow as a student and a player, ever closer to graduation, it's difficult to imagine a future where academics and volleyball do not intertwine. I am looking for a program that will challenge me, both in the classroom and on the court, to pursue excellence.
