2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
To prepare for a successful career in business, I want to be a part of a university community where I can learn, explore my curiosity, create a network and leave a mark. But the college experience would be incomplete for me if I don't play volleyball.
As an athlete, I am driven, adaptable, coachable, and competitive. I was captain of my club volleyball team for two years and I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself and helping team members become better athletes.
Since I was a young child I participated in competitive sports. For over 10 years, I played soccer. I started as a center, moved to midfield, and lastly, found my favorite position as goalie. I enjoyed being a goalie because I was unafraid and knew I was the last line of defense for my team - something I took seriously. I helped my soccer team climb to the 2nd top spot in the State of Florida. In volleyball, I have that same sense of purpose and conviction as a defensive specialist and libero. I like to win and like to succeed as a team.
