Hi, I'm Ashley!

I am looking for a college that not only meets my academic needs, but also allows me to become a collegiate athlete. I am a hard working and a driven student athlete. Two years ago I went out and got my very first job, not many 14 year olds can say that they were able to obtain a real life job at 14. In addition to being a student athlete and a part time worker, being involved in student life at my high school is very important to me. I have held officer positions in my school's Student Government program for the last three years. Having a busy schedule has taught me strong time management and organizational skills. As you can see from above, being a well rounded and driven person in all aspects of life makes me different from other recruits. I plan on continuing being involved in student life in college. 

I am searching for a volleyball program that is competitive with the goal of winning tournaments and conference titles. Having played for Maryland's high school regional & state titles and traveled the USA with my club team, I am use to competing at a high level. Working hard to further my libero skills to earn play time for the "play to win" attitude is a philosophy I am looking for my college team. A cohesive team that cares about the game as much as I do would be great. Innovated coaching ideas to further my skills with the balance of hard work and fun is desirable to me. I would like a college coach to develop a volleyball relationship with me as well as take an academic and personal interest in my growth as a person. 

 I am looking for a college that has a strong academic reputation known for their marketing degree. In order to express my creative side, I am seeking a minor or possible double major in graphic design or fine arts.
