Caitlin Parkman '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing volleyball has always been an important part of my life. I've been the starting libero for my varsity team since my junior year, and I love being a leader for my team. This season I was nominated as an All-Star for the First Team in my conference, and next season I will be my team's captain. I would love to continue to be a part of a team at the collegiate level as well. 

I am both passionate about volleyball and my studies. Throughout high school I have maintained a GPA of about 4.2, and I am consistently in the High Honor Roll. I am also passionate about the environment, and I am a leader in the National Green School Society of Marblehead High School. In college I hope to pursue a study relating to nature and the environment, but I am also interested in writing and criminology. 

I believe I might be different from other candidates because I'm resilient.  My family has lived in New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Massachusetts. Moving to  different states with different cultures forced me to learn how to adapt to my surrounding circumstances, people, and atmospheres. This unique skill set will help me adapt to whatever team I am a part of in college.
