Iv'e feel in love with volleyball the first year of high school, I heard they were trying to start a team so I took that opportunity to have all my friends join me and try something new! Since then I never wanted to drop the ball, volleyball has been something very good in my life. It allowed me to connect with my teammates and be a leader and build my skills individually and I take all opportunity's to play the game. I joined Western Mass Volleyball in Holyoke MA, so I can increase my skills and become the best player I can be. Volleyball is definitely the sport I want to continue in college, it helped me so much mentally, especially since I joined high school with the loss of my mother and volleyball gave me a chance to distract and help me and give me something to do instead of stay sad all the time. I appreciate the sport and all opportunities in my way. I think colleges should be interested in me being on their team because I never give up on myself. If there's one thing I have learned in life it was to chase my goals and never give up on my self happiness, and volleyball gave that to me. I will take my skills serious and respect and grow with the team, I'd be a leader and motivate others to never give up on their potential, and to help their weak skills become their strongest skill. Everyone deserves a chance to explore their dreams and achievements and becoming the best volleyball player I can be is a goal. I focus very hard in my academics, I help other students after school and I am a honor roll student, last trimester I was able to hit the high honor roll. Currently (2019) I am still continuing my spot on the honor roll and working really hard off season for volleyball and I was varsity captain this season ! It was a great season. I have several dreams that my heart is desired to chase. Although I am so busy I always make time for the court and will continue to do that.
