Hi, I am Janayah Jones. I am a senior at Taconic High School. I have played volleyball for 5 years. Overtime volleyball has become my rock and my love for this sport continues to grow. I would love to play in college. I have put a lot of effort into becoming the best player I can be through travel and my school team. I am even the captain of my school volleyball team now. As I gain more experience I hope to become even better. Through my past experience I have learned to push myself and keep the motivation going in times of need. This really helps me aswell as my teamates around me. I have also learned to be meantally strong on the court. If a mistake is made I am able to brush it off and move on. Volleyball is very important to me but so is school. Over my highschool career I have pushed my self to greater lengths by taking AP and college classes. While doing this I have also been high honor students for the past 4 years. I take schooling very seriously and in the future I know that will stay the same.
