Anything I put my mind to, I accomplish. Until this day, the compliment I have treasured the most was when a past coach of mine said, "You're tough as nails, kid." Under any obstacle, the switch flips and I triumph above. It's an understatement to say I have an addiction to constantly improving my ability as an athlete. During team practices, I put in 110% effort. I give it my all during practice so I'm able to give it my all during games. If I realize one of my skills needs polishing, I focus on that particular technique until it's perfect. Although I play hard, and cheer for my teammates even harder. As much as getting that laser beam of a kill brings myself a rush of serotonin, witnessing my teammates' achieve success brings a collective sense of excitement that creates a shared memory of happiness. My contribution on the court is not only important, but maintaining a supportive and positive environment is just as vital to achieve success for the team. As much time and energy I devote to volleyball, I manage a balance of my hustle and my student life in the classroom. I am currently apart of the National Honor Society and peaking my interest in majoring in Biology. I push myself as a student as much as I push myself as an athlete. I am more than ready to become a student athlete at the professional level and further my volleyball career.
