I have enjoyed playing on my high school volleyball team since 7th grade. My coaches would tell you that I work hard and that I am very coachable. I have been chosen to be the Captain of my varsity team this year. I wrote a grant and started a youth volleyball camp at my school in 2019.
I want to continue to play volleyball in college at a D2 or D3 level. I can't wait to step foot on a college court and to be part of that camaraderie. I am happy to play in any role that my coach sees fit.
My current high school season has been postponed until March 2021, and my club season is postponed indefinitely. I miss volleyball and my teammates like crazy. I have been running and I played soccer this fall in order to stay in shape. I practice skills in my yard with my sister as often as I can.
Academically, I am a member of the National Honor Society, and I earned high honors for first term. I take all honors classes, as well as 2 college classes. I will have 18 college credits completed already when I graduate in June.
