I am Lujan Urena and 17 years old. I have been playing volleyball since seventh grade which has helped me grow as a player. Starting as a middle schooler on the Junior Varsity team was not easy, but wanting to be a better player and be like the Varsity players pushed me to play like them. In 2021, I was Captian of my School team. I am a Starter and setter for the Varsity team. One of the many good qualities I have is a good mindset for learning new opportunities through sports or in general . As a player, I believe being attentive is super important. This has helped me because I can see the opposing team's plays and react before the ball contacts our side. This has helped my team for us to work together which is mainly important. I am very outgoing, positive, and encouraging off and on the court. I love to make people laugh which makes playing time more enjoyable as a whole. I graduate from PVCA in 2024 and would like to major in either Criminal Justice or become an anesthesiologist. As I would love to pursue and continue to play, school is just as important to me to fulfill my dreams.
