My primary focus in college is to major in either biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, or genetics. I want to become a physician when I grow up, probably either in cardiology or neurology. I find medicine fascinating and am set on pursuing it, as I have been ever since I was 5 years old. However, volleyball is something I cannot see myself living without. I am well aware that balancing a serious sport as well as a vigorous course load can be difficult, but I am willing to work hard to pursue my dreams and aspirations. If I am unable to commit to a school via volleyball, I will find a way to play regardless. Volleyball is something I love deeply and I would do anything to get extra playing opportunities. I am very hard working and disciplined with time management. I always like to find something to immerse myself into, it is a rare occurrence for me to be sitting in my room doing nothing. I also put my full attention into everything, I strongly dislike doing something for the sake of getting it done. I believe that everything must be done with a purpose and held to a high satisfactory standard. If I were to be on a team I would dedicate everything to ensure my personal success but more importantly the success of my team and other members. Having volleyball as something to look forward to everyday sounds like a dream and for me is a perfect outlet for stress. I understand that it may get exhausting at some point, especially since I am very adamant about achieving strong academic performance, however I believe I am capable of doing so. I like to think that when I set my mind to something I accomplish it despite the obstacles encountered.
