Faith Rankin '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Faith Rankin, I am a Junior from Battle Creek, Michigan and I will be graduating in the year 2022. I am a front row and back row player but my strong suit is in the front row. My main positions are Outside and Opposite. I have been playing volleyball since I was about 7 years old, and when I started playing competitively that is when I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I currently attend Lakeview High School, I have always focused hard on school to strive to be the best that I can be on the court and in school, which I plan on continuing in college. My Mom was my biggest inspiration and role model because she always pushed me to work harder and become better because she always expected the most out of me which made me the player I am today. My Sophomore year on Varsity I mainly played as an Opposite and Outside hitter and spent some time in the back row as well. Playing the variety of positions I played has taught me to be disciplined and to be a flexible person by playing where my coaches needed me to play, and playing the positions they put me in to the best of my abilities. After graduating High School I plan to pursue my dreams of playing volleyball and becoming a Cardiologist or doing something that involves human medicine. I am a leader on and off the court and will always be there for my teammates through everything and always be there as a helpful hand and a person to rise their spirits on and off the court. I am a very dedicated person and will do whatever I need to improve upon myself as a person, student, and athlete. I am a very devoted student and I maintain high grades in my classes while still managing school sports, club sports, and family. I also take pride in helping people and adapting to situations on and off of the court.
