Ever since I was a little kid, I've always had the desire to achieve. I love to try new things, and I will do whatever is needed to make sure that I can be the best in everything I try. I am a passionate athlete, and I have been involved in extracurriculars and sports since kindergarten. I found my love for volleyball specifically in 6th grade. It was my first time being back in school since COVID, and it was also my first year of middle school. I needed something to keep busy with, and the volleyball program at my school was practicing. Even though we did not play any games during this period, we worked on technique, teamwork, and work ethic. This really helped me grow as an athlete. I realized that sports aren't just a vessel for competition, they help you to grow as a person by teaching perseverance, and team sports such as volleyball taught me how to work cohesively with others, how to read your teammates, and that mistakes are just an opportunity to learn, reflect and grow.
