Personal Statement

Hi Coaches,

I am Abby Boyle. I will graduate from Byron Center High School in the spring of 2021. I have a strong desire to continue my academic and volleyball career at the collegiate level. I am a well-performing student, currently with a 4.0 and taking two AP classes as a sophomore. I am very passionate about playing volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since the 4th grade, and at a highly competitive level since I was 12. What drives me is a desire to continuously improve and be the best teammate I can possibly be.

I have started as a Libero for both my high school and national club team for the past three years. I was fortunate enough to be selected to the highest club team of my age group for the last three years. In 2018 we took 2nd place losing to a strong Sports Performance team, while competing in the premier bracket at the AAU nationals in Orlando Florida. While playing high school this year I was selected to the All-Conference, and All-Regional teams. I was an honorable mention for the All-Area team. I received the Defense Dandies award in 2018 while playing club ball from Prep Volleyball National Championship Day 15's, and was on the Ultra Ankle JVA watch list for the class of 2021.

I would be honored and humbled to get a chance to discuss your programs and how I may help improve your team.

Thank you!
