Madelyn Krappmann '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Madelyn Krappmann. I have an enormous passion for volleyball as well as learning, so it would be a dream of mine to attend an academically and athletically competitive college where I could play volleyball and further my education. I'm incredibly determined and work as hard as possible to achieve my dreams. 

I've been playing volleyball since 5th grade, and I started playing on a state travel team in 7th grade. Freshman year of high school I played on the 15-1s National team at Unified Volleyball as an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist, and I received the honor of being named an Academic All-American. In my sophomore year, I played the same positions on the Unified 16-1s National Team. In my junior year, I am playing on the Unified 17-1s team. Additionally, I have been on the Everest Collegiate varsity volleyball team for three years as a starter. I am primarily a six-rotation Outside Hitter, but I've also played Right Side Hitter, Setter, and Middle Hitter depending on my team's needs. In 2023, we made school history, accomplishing the extraordinary feat of winning the state championships after being down 2 sets to 0 in both the semi-final and final matches. I received the honor of first-team all-state.

I attend Everest Collegiate in Clarkston, Michigan. In addition to playing volleyball at school, I run varsity track (where I received the honor of Academic All-State in 2022 and am an 8x All-Catholic Selection), represent my grade through student council, participate in the school theater program, lead an ECyD (youth group) team, and play saxophone in the school band.
