I have been playing volleyball for about 5 years now. I am currently playing for Huron Valley Volleyball Club in Saline Michigan where I am on the 17u national team. During my freshman year I was one of three other freshman that got pulled up and started on the JV team. During my sophomore season I was on the Varsity team and started about 85% of games. I also was third on my team for highest amount of blocks during the 2014 season. I am currently a starter on the varsity team and am one of the most effective middles and overall hitters on my team. I am a strong middle hitter and blocker and I am very aggressive at the net. I am also used as a right side for some of my club games. I am definitely a team player and I love to see my teammates succeed. I am a very positive person on and off the court which reflects in the way I play. I hope to attend a college that will provide me with the necessary tools to succeed in the field of occupational therapy or education however that is only a preference, I have not officially decided on a major. I would also like to attend a school in a more urban location, however this is not a requirement for me.
