Zoe Ornelas '22 Recruiting Profile

Hey! I'm a Junior who plays on the Wellspring Volleyball team. I am very motivated on the court and in school, and wont stop trying until I do something right. I have been playing volleyball for 5 years now. I got into it after my 2 older sisters played in middle and high school. I am planning to graduate a year early and plan to head straight into college afterwards. I am working to learn how to play every position effectively for the benefit of myself and my team.

During my Freshman year, I played on the Varsity team. I played all across the front as an Outside, Middle, and Opposite. This past year, I played on Wellspring Prep's JV team. During this season, I was introduced to a new position as a Setter. I can tell that I have not only grown as a player, but I have grown as a person and a leader. I wish to continue to play and to further push myself in order to be the best player I can become.
