Hi, My name is Gabrielle Cumbo and I am a 5’7 Setter! My ultimate goal is to play at a competitive collegiate level while also getting my college degree. Playing college ball has always been one of my goals since I was young. Ive played volleyball since 3rd grade and started more competitively in 5th grade. Ive had a love for the court since. When stepping into the gym I strive to become a better player and always find ways to improve.
I have been setting my entire volleyball career but, I also play right side when needed. I played at Michigan Elite Volleyball Club for 4 years and 2 years ago switched to Legacy Volleyball Club. I played on Junior- Varsity as a freshman and got pulled up to Varsity later on in the season. I have played Varsity ever since and have been named caption as a junior. Coming from coaches and peers I have been known to be a coachable and dependable athlete. Being apart of a team, my dedication, and all of my hard work has pushed me throughout my volleyball career to become better each and every day.
As a Junior my GPA is a 3.7, and I am apart of NHS. I am also apart of 4-H while I show and care for horses, pigs, goats and beef cows!I am hoping to play volleyball Division II or Division III but would be open for Division I. I hope to find the perfect school for me!
Thank you for taking your time to read about me, I hope to hear from you soon!
