Hi, I'm Molly Miller and I have fallen in love with volleyball. I began playing volleyball at our local recreational volleyball and basketball facility. After a year of recreational volleyball I made one of our eighth grade teams, but didn't play much. After attending a few college volleyball camps, open gyms and a summer of box jumping in my back yard - I made the Junior Varsity team as a freshmen.
I joined a local club team for the club season and enjoyed the coaching of a former varsity volleyball coach. She encouraged me and guided more improvements to my game. I worked very hard to improve my vertical jump and strengthen my arm swing. After another summer of camps, open gyms and box jumps I made the Oxford High School Varsity team as a sophomore for the fall 2018 season. I also made the Unified 16-2 National team for the 2019 club season.
I am really excited for this upcoming 2020 Club Season because I will be playing on our 17-1 National Team. Playing and competing at the highest level has been a goal. The work to make school teams and the National Club team have made me determined to play volleyball at a collegiate level. I feel that I have much more to learn and improve on to be the best player that I can be. I look forward to the challenges ahead.
I believe I am a hard worker and will do all the work necessary to be a contributing, competitive teammate. Academically I know I have to work and study to maintain good grades - it is the most important thing in front of me.
I am highly motivated and determined to excel in not only volleyball but also in life after high school. I look forward to finding the right college for me to continue my volleyball experience and prepare for life after school and volleyball.
