Aiyana Semear '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aiyana Semear. I’ve been playing volleyball for 7 years. My love for volleyball came when I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and it has been a huge part of my life since then. My main position is Libero, but I also play as a DS. I was captain of my volleyball team my junior and senior year. As a sophomore I was brought up to the varsity team to play as a DS. My junior year I became my teams Libero and continued with Libero all throughout my senior year. 

I feel I am a leader on and off the court. I always try to be positive and lift up my team’s spirit. I think it is very important to maintain a good attitude throughout every game. I have learned to balance my school work and my athletic activities very well. I am always looking for new ways to improve my game as a player and a leader. I am a very coachable player and I feel as though I would be a great asset to a college team.
