Hello! My name is Emma Pagliarella from Washington, Michigan. I'm a 5'9" Middle Hitter/Blocker, but can also play as an Outside Hitter. I'm willing to play at any position that my team needs me for. I am outgoing, energetic and competitive. It is my goal to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
I was previously committed to Notre Dame College (D2) in South Euclid, Ohio. I was proud and excited to sign with them last fall. Unfortunately, the school has announced they are closing their doors after the current semester. I'm now open to new opportunities, and know I can be an asset to any volleyball program if given the chance.
I am always trying to become a better athlete and striving to accomplish different goals in regards to volleyball. I love to be a team leader and always show a positive attitude on and off the court. I'm always looking for ways to cheer on my teammates and show my enthusiasm for them and our team.
I have been playing volleyball since the 4th grade, both in school and club. I was the starting Varsity MB for the past three seasons (2021, 2022, 2023) for Romeo High School, and was a co-captain for my Senior season. For the 2024 club season, I am playing MB for the 18-3 Adidas East team for Legacy Volleyball Club in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
My high school career highlights include being a 3-year Varsity starter, Senior Captain, as well as the team leader in blocks (101) this past season. For the 2023 season, I also achieved the following: Macomb Area (MAC) All Academic Award, Academic All State Team, 3rd Team All County (Macomb County), Honorable Mention All Conference, Romeo High School Scholar Athlete, Varsity Team MAC Sportsmanship Award, and the Bulldog Award (most energetic/spirited). My senior season was also capped off with a District championship!
In school, I have a 3.6 GPA with Honors and AP coursework. I have received the “3.5 GPA or higher” award in 9th, 11th and 12th grades, along with the “PE-Future First Overall Pick”. I am also a member of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). I am interested in studying to become a Sports Psychologist and I’m currently following coursework in the Health, Human and Public Service (HHP) Academy at Romeo High School.
Volleyball has had a huge impact on my life and I'm excited to continue playing in high school and hopefully in college. Thank you for viewing my profile!
