Ever since I was young I have been taught beneficial character traits that have carried me throughout my highshcool career. As far as my personal aspirations go, I want to go into the field of neuroscience. I have been working incredibly hard at my school to be the best student candidate I can be. This includes having a 4 point GPA, taking all AP classes my school offers, dual-enrolling, and finally being president of numerous clubs. Aside from my academics I also participate in many sports. For many years I was a 3 sport athelte, but volleyball was always my favorite one. I have been playing and building my skills ever since I was in 4th grade. The best part of the school I go to is the touches. Because of the small numbers, I get more practice and game time which has allowed me to become exponentially better. I have gone to volleyball camps and play club ball. One misconception I have learned about athletics is that the most skilled go the furthest. However, there is a lot more to being a top athlete. They need to know how to work with a team, they need mental toughness, and above all they need to be able to give their best every time they step out on the court. For me volleyball has become more than just a sport I play, it has become my passion. When I get out on that court I feel more at ease then I do anywhere else. My dream is to continue with this passion throughout my college career. Furthermore not only will I exhibit all the traits listed, but I will also adapt and be willing to learn new things needed to benefit the team as a whole. These are the aspects of me personally that separates me from other athletes.
