I would be a good candidate for your team because I'm motivating and encouraging both on and off the court. I constantly work to create and maintain a positive atmosphere for players both when we win or lose. If we win a game, I'm the first one cheering everyone on and the first one to lift our team's spirits during a loss. My coaches have praised me for my hard work and dedication to improving my form and technique to better myself before each game.
I've learned many important lessons while being an athlete through my character, athletics and academics. One would be that communication is important before, during and after the game. Strong communication helps everyone stay informed at all times, which is applied in my academics and everyday life from communication with my parents and/or my job, and on the court with my team members.
Another lessons is understanding that when one who points out both your strengths and our weaknesses, is helping you grow as a person. These individuals could be a coach, teacher, parent, and/or friend wants to see you improve and cares about strengthening your confidence on the court and off the court.
