I am a dedicated and driven setter/D.S. originally from Plainfield, Illinois and moved to Lino Lakes, Minnesota before my 8th-grade year. I started playing volleyball at Sports Performance's Youth Program in Aurora Illinois and continued to play there for another year. Once I moved to Minnesota, Since 8th grade, I started playing at a High School varsity level for Centennial High School. My club career in MN started with Minnesota Select Volleyball Club at 14's. After 2 years I made a difficult decision. In order to better myself and improve on my individual skills, I decided to change to Kokoro Volleyball club for my 16's season.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to participate in AVCA's Phenom program. This program taught me a lot about playing in college and the player that I strive to become. During this past high school season, I was awarded the "most spirit" award by an opposing varsity head coach. Getting the most spirit award shows my determination, love, and passion for the game. My coaches and teammates always look to me as a leader on and off the court. As an offseason leader for my high school team, I take pride in having people in the community and younger students at Centennial look up to me. I am often described as a player with a high volleyball IQ, being extremely coachable and conducting myself well under pressure by my club coaches. I take pride in my hard work ethic and commitment to the sport of volleyball, and in my academic career.
I am looking for a university that offers a strong Psychology program allowing me to make a contribution to the school academically and athletically. I would love to take on a new adventure and go to school anywhere around the United States.
