Madelyn McCown '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Madelyn McCown 

I'm a 5'2 DS/Libero from Minnetonka Minnesota and I have been playing volleyball since the 6th grade.  My love for the sport has grown since I first started in 6th grade watching the older girls play on the bench to being on varsity my freshman year and getting to serve in the final match for our first sections game. Its always been a  dream of mine to go to college to further my education while playing the sport I love,  to hear the crowd cheer my team and my name as I dig that hard hall or serve it in and get a ace.  In the meantime I continue to work hard during summer camps as well as club and am committed to putting my whole heart into becoming  a better player and to be the best  for my team as well, The joy of seeing my team get to the next level is something that no other sport could give me.  Volleyball  has not only given me amazing skills but I never has given me lifelong bond with girls that I now consider my family.
