Personal Statement

My name is Kylie Hart and I am 5’4 setter from Floodwood, MN. I have been playing volleyball for as long as I can remember, as I have grown up in the gym with my dad being a high school coach, and my love for this sport has only grown. I have been a setter since 6th grade and it is crazy to see just how far I have come since then. Not only have I grown as a player but I have grown as a leader, on and off the court, and have become mentaly stronger. I go to a small high school in Floodwood where I am 2nd in my class of 15. I do PSEO in Duluth at Lake Superior College where I have earned a few college credits already. I am looking forward to college and finding new experiences. I am searching for a school where I can find a balance between being a student and being a player. I am thinking of going into a business/finance major, with a possible career in business management in school districts. I have always planned on going to college after high school, but playing college volleyball is something that I have dreamed about from the first time I heard about college volleyball.
