Coaches can teach you all the things in the world but nobody can teach you to want the ball. This is one of my favorite quotes and reminders of how to attack volleyball and life itself. Making a pass, dig,or set to give my teammates the best chance to succeed and score I want the ball. Improving to be better every day on the court, in the weight room and in the classroom is no different then wanting the ball in life also. I was captain on my club team and if I had to describe my game it's all heart and effort and I expect it from my teammates as well. I am constantly communicating with players and coaches and if there is a mistake it's “lets get the next point” and pick up my teammates with encouragement and support. If I make a mistake I want the next ball to show it was just that....a mistake. I have a very competitive nature and want to win and help my team win.
“Wanting the ball” in the classroom also applies to what I want from a school in the business world. A school that will challenge and push me on the court and in the classroom and take me to the next level and beyond. I am a strong student enrolled in AP classes and honors classes welcoming the challenges that they give. I am looking for a college to fill my academic and volleyball goals. “I want the ball”
