Ryley Frye '21 Recruiting Profile

I love volleyball and have been playing for almost 11 years now. I am very passionate about the sport and my education. I would love to attend a school with a great educational system and with a great volleyball program that fits me. 

I am a very competitive uplifting teammate i like to consider myself a leader on and off the court. I always want my teammates and i to succeed and to grow as individuals and as a whole. My older brother has always taught me to be strong and confident in what you’re doing. And i believe i show that on the volleyball court. 

I enjoy every aspect of volleyball and i admire other positions not just being a setter. I take the time to learn the rotations for every position and every play we can run and who it’s the best fit for and love to watch my teammates grow. I started out as a outside/ pin hitter for about 3 years until i found my passion as a setter, mostly because i love the feeling of setting my teammates up for a great kill.
