My passion is volleyball, no matter if it’s playing club or high school or even on vacation, any chance I get I play volleyball. It keeps my mental health in check, it keeps me physically fit, it gives me an opportunity to make true bonds with my teammates. I live for volleybal, however it’s not the only thing that matters to me. What matters most to me is my character and how I treat people, I am kind to my teammates and classmates alike and I encourage and cheer for their achievements. My favorite thing about myself is that I would rather my have my team play well together instead of myself having a great game statistically. Acedemically, I believe school comes before sports, so even though I live for volleyball, without maintaining my grades I would not play volleyball until they were back up to my standard which are very high for myself. I think I’m different than others because I value my team so much, volleyball for me is not just about being competitive, but also about learning and building connections with other girls who share the same passion and love for the sport.
