Hello Coach,
My name is Elizabeth(Ellie) Ernhart and I have been proudly playing volleyball since fourth grade. I have played for my school team and for a couple different club teams in Minnesota. These would include High Voltage, Club Tonka and Vital Volleyball--all of which have given me the opportunity to compete in national level tournaments.
Most recently, I completed my junior school season with Watertown-Mayer High School located in Watertown, Minnesota approximately 30 miles west of Minneapolis. For the past two years, I have been the Varsity starting libero and named All-Conference HM(10th) and All-Conference/Area(11th), earned Academic All-Conference(9, 10 and 11th) and the Hustle Award(10th and 11th) by my teammates as the player that never gave up throughout the season.
My skills overall, both on and off the court, will make me an asset to your program. My strong academics, leadership roles, arts, athletics and community service combined have made me a stand out in my school. I was recently nominated and selected by the staff as the winner of the 2016-2017 ExCEL Award sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. This award honors the top junior girl and boy in their school who has excelled in academics, athletics, the arts, and contribution to community.
I am honored and humbled to have received these recognitions but if asked what I am most proud of and why I would be a most valued asset to a team my answer, hands-down, would be my ability to work hard and get along well with both my peers and adults. I thrive on being the "work-horse" on the court, striving to lead others by example. I set high standards and goals, love to be pushed and really love to win--but always together as a team. I would be honored to be part of your program, your tradition. I urge to contact my coaches who can speak to my athleticism, academics, and contribution to the team but most importantly, my character.
Warm Regards,
Elizabeth(Ellie) Ernhart
