**UPDATE: My senior high school (HS) season has been reinstated! I have update my events tab to include my HS matches.
I love to compete and be part of a team. I was a tennis player in middle school, a track and field athlete through junior high, and a hockey player until my sophomore year of high school. I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and it quickly became my favorite sport. To this day, I am excited to practice, train for, and play volleyball.
Academically, I am interested in nursing, psychology, and education. I hope to have a better idea of which career I want to pursue after job shadowing in those areas.
I continue to show skill improvements (especially as I transitioned from setter to RS). I want to be used as a first attack option similar to the use of outside hitters. As a left-handed right side, I create different/additional opportunities during an attack, and my athleticism and soft hands are bonuses on broken plays and during defensive sets.
I started training in late 2019 with a former DII volleyball player who also has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She specializes in sports medicine/orthopedics. The strength, quickness, agility, and power gains I have made with her training should make my senior season a memorable one.
I hope to visit with you about my future.
