Nikki Lawrence '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nikki Lawrence, and I come from a long line of amazing athletes in my family. My sister started teaching me how to play volleyball at four-years-old. Since then, I've had a drive to be one of the best. I believe that you learn to become a great volleyball player over time, but something I believe can't be taught is true passion. You're either born with it or you aren't. Passion and drive are what have gotten me to where I am now, and, not only am I passionate and driven on the court, but also in my grades. Being a good athlete and a good student is hard, but I don't let it stand in my way. I work my hardest in everything I do and am not satisfied with minimum effort. This is what makes me stand out from any other athlete. I would be able to adapt to any team because I am very outgoing and coachable. I wish to play volleyball in college because I have set high standards for myself and absolutely love playing the game. I am very encouraging to other teammates. I treat my teammates like family because I believe family comes first and then the volleyball comes naturally. My goals are to represent my future college and to one day make a mark on the world, whether it be through volleyball, spreading God's word, or helping others by pursuing my career.
