When I was almost 11, I became really interested in playing sports. I started playing volleyball in summer leagues and then I tried out and played club volleyball, and I've been doing so ever since. After a few years, my club team earned a bid to nationals and I realized how truly significant this sport was in my life. From there, many bigger and better things have happened, including winning national qualifiers, placing third in USAV nationals, and playing on varsity in high school volleyball.
My parents have been there for me every step of the way, and because of them and all of their support, I have learned dedication and persistence inside and outside the game of volleyball. These characteristics that I've gained go beyond the court. I devote myself and my time to making sure that I am also succeeding with my academics, along with sports. Academically and athletically, I am trying to find an appropriate college and volleyball program for me, and I believe that I would be a great addition to your college in more than just these two aspects.
