Lyndsi Terrell '26 Recruiting Profile

Starting as the ball girl in the first grade for my school's volleyball team until I could play in the 5th grade began my love and passion for the game.  I started club volleyball at 11 years old and by the 7th grade, I knew I did not want the game to stop after high school.  This started my dream of playing in college.   Dedicated,  competitive,  adaptable, court smart, and a team player are just a few of my strengths as a volleyball player.  I am willing to play in any position to not only improve my playing skills but also to contribute to the success of my team.  For instance, as a setter, I have run a 5-1 and a 6-2 rotation, as a hitter I have played both outside and opposite positions, and finally, I have played as a defensive specialist. Academics are very important to me with my goal of carrying at least a 3.5 GPA throughout my high school years and receiving an academic scholarship in college.  Although I am unsure about my field of study at this time, I have always known I wanted to attend college even before I knew I wanted to play volleyball in college, and getting to do both would be amazing!
