I am 17 years old and my birthday is September 28, 2004. I am 5'11", 135 pounds, right handed and play middle hitter. I have always loved sports! I played volleyball in the 3rd-5th grade but then took up cross country and track in the 6th grade. I also played basketball my 5th-8th grade years and played club basketball for 2 years. I started playing volleyball again my 8th grade year at school and at that time made the decision to commit all my time to the sport which I have always loved the most. In 2020, my freshman year of high school, I started playing club ball with Performance Elite Volleyball club. My freshman year of high school was our schools first year of existence and I played JV. My sophomore year I was starting middle hitter for our varsity team and still today am the starting middle hitter.
Sports have always been a big part of my life. I have played school sports year round since I was 10 years old. Playing multiple sports really helped me develop my time management skills and a hard work ethic. I will make a great asset to a college team one day. I will give my best effort on the court and in the classroom. If you talk with my coaches, they will tell you I am very coachable and will give full effort and often spend time outside of practice on the court to be a better athlete.
I am really looking forward to the college experience both in the classroom and on the volleyball court. Since I was in the 5th grade I have wanted to go into the sports medicine field and have not deterred from that dream to this day.
