As a two-sport athlete I have developed and learned a lot about myself. By recently joining soccer I’ve learned what it takes to improve myself through setting long term goals, such as having a faster mile time, and that it takes short term goals, like getting a goal in my next game, along with focus and determination to create success.
School is a big part of my life. I work hard in and out of school to become the best student athlete I can, even if that means staying up late to study for a test or ask for extra help from a teacher to understand what I'm learning. I now see that academics come first in helping me to reach my long-term goal to become a defender and healer of sick children.
Volleyball is my love! I aspire to be the best Libero! I will always defend my team on the court. My team is a family to me. We work together to accomplish a common goal. To be better, even if just a little, every time we go out on the court! Volleyball has taught me that not only do you have to become the best player you can be, but you also must help each other to be the best players you can be. You depend on each other to learn and push the team to greater levels of success. I take great pleasure in digging the toughest attacks, setting my team up for success, leading and cheering my team to win. Learn together, win together! I am a confident, determined, protective, and passionate player. My dream is to lead a college volleyball team as a Libero.
