My name is Lacey Higgins and I am a 16 year-old 5'6'' setter for MAVS 816 17-1, as well as a setter for Lees Summit West High School in Lees Summit, Missouri. I was the starting setter for my high school volleyball team my sophomore as well as junior year. As a freshman, I played varsity back-up setter as well as junior varsity's starting setter. I believe that my work ethic and competitive drive would make a great addition to any team. A few of my goals include playing volleyball in college as well as pursuing a medical career. I am very interested in a few medical careers including a general practitioner, or physician's assistant. During my freshman, sophomore, and so far junior years in high school, I have maintained a 4.1 weighted GPA, as well as a 3.89 unweighted GPA. On the weekends and various weekdays, I love to volunteer at various places around Kansas City such as Coldwater, IPourLife, and Journey Church International. I have a passion for helping others succeed as well as making a difference in others lives. As well as volunteering, I adore animals, swimming, babysitting, hanging out with my neighbors/friends, and spending lots of time outdoors.
