Luella Mathany '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is Luella Mathany, and I am a 2028 DS/L. I always work hard in both my athletics and academics and always put my best foot forward to achieve my goals. I attend Villa Duchesne in St. Louis MO, and play for K-Elites VBC. I intend to pursue the medical field and become a dermatologist in the future. I am not only a volleyball player, but also a competitive hip-hop dancer at NiMoli Studio. Being a dual-sport student-athlete, I have a very busy schedule, but I never fail to work hard with a good attitude and excellent dedication. I am choosing to continue my volleyball career because of my love for the sport. I spend my free time running ball control drills at home or taking private lessons, and I always stay focused during practices to improve my performance. I am a dynamic and confident player, and will never give up on a play. I aspire to take the next step in my athletic and academic career by playing collegiate volleyball, and I hope you will consider recruiting me!
