My short term goal is to finish high school while maintaining a 4.0. When I have accomplished this goal it will set me up for post secondary academic success. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA through out high school requires myself to work with a wide variety of individuals. My long range goal for post secondary success is to get into a pre-med program. When I graduate from a pre-med program it will allow me to help low income or disadvantaged populations that would otherwise have problems with affordability and access to healthcare.
What makes me different from other candidates is while maintaining all of my academic successes I also maintain, getting to practice on time , and working out on my own time. While struggling with living in a small community I figure out ways to get myself into the gym, even in the offseason. With the high rates of substance abuse around my community I chose to be substance free. When I commit to a task I have the perseverance and support to see it through.
Completing a pre-med program I will have the ability to work with a diverse population. Also after getting accepted to a school while playing volleyball, I am committed to working with my teammates on and off the court. While playing at the collegiate level, I will be open to learning new concepts and different volleyball offensive & defensive systems. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile and if you have any questions about my academics or athletics please feel free to contact me at anytime.
