Lucille Horne '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luci Horne. I am a junior at Broadwater High School in Townsend, MT. I represent the statement of a student-first athlete through my commitments to the classroom earning a 4.0 every year of high school and being ranked 1st in my class of 42. I lettered in three varsity sports as a freshman (volleyball, basketball, and track), continuing to my junior year. My competitive spirit is ingrained in who I am from my parents, who are both NAIA All-American athletes (football-linebacker & volleyball-setter) who played at Carroll College in Helena, MT. My dedication to my teammates and to the game of volleyball was rewarded with most in conference aces (82), all-area team honorable mention, and team voted most inspirational (sophomore). This year (junior) I was chosen as team captain and selected 2nd team all-conference (while playing in rotation), helping my team earn third at the all-class state volleyball tournament.  I am excited to challenge my academics to the highest standards (31 pre-ACT score) and be the best teammate for all my teams at BHS. I am working to earn the opportunity to continue to play and be a part of a next level team when that time comes.
